Welcome to the first in a series we like to call the Halfway to Halloween Hammer Horror series. In our first part, we take a quick look at the little British studio who began cranking out remakes of the older Universal Monster properties. The movie that Hammer produced first was 1957's The Curse of Frankenstein!

Starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee in the first of many, many Hammer Horror movies together, the movie was also famous for being the first Hammer horror movie ever produced and also, the studio's first time making a feature film in beautiful technicolor to really showcase all the bright red blood!
